and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
This is for my Rosie Posie, it feels that it is taking ages...but really it has only been a month since I started it. The colors are lovely, like something out of one of Monet's waterlily paintings...and definitely the little one's favorites. The variegated is actually called Monet and I chose the rest to coordinate...emphasizing the purple and blue that my Rosie Posie loves.
Crocheting afghans is something I once loved but no longer enjoy as much. I will be finishing this one and then making one for older daughter when "the" yarn is found. I feel that each girl should have one from me, but then I won't be making another for a long time...maybe when I have a Grandbaby in 15 years or so! They just are too big, I like a smaller project these days!
I wanted to let you all know what I was up to, just busy with my hook and not my shuttle!
Not much tatting happened around here today...just lots of plain flat out busy. I did take a few moments to finish up these little hair clips. I have never done centers for them in this manner before, but thought the buttons just looked right on this set...
