I wasn't sure I was going to get this little heart done today. I've started working on some crochet Easter items for my Rosie Posie's basket so that took up that very valuable nap time (I just have to have some suprises for her)...Easter AND a 2nd Birthday are only about a month away now so I need to get busy. I'll post some pictures of those Easter things when they are a little further along in a day or so here.
The rest of the day, well...it just seemed like I'd sit down to work on this and have time for a ring or chain or so and then the little Posie needed a hug or my big Girl needed some help with her school work or something else needed doing...but here we are:
This is "Small Tatted Heart" designed by Betsy Evans. The pattern can be found HERE. I've done this in a size 10 J.&P. Coats Knit-Cro-Sheen color #122 (It's a very bright fushia color) I had seen this done by someone else somewhere in tatting blog land and thought it was very pretty and wanted to give it a try. (I'm really sorry I don't remember who's ~ it was done in a really pretty yellow)
I think it came out well enough, though I started with a half filled shuttle that was not attached to the ball and ended up with 3 sets of ends to hide instead of the one set I should have...learned a lesson there! I'll count this as #4 in my 25 motif challenge.
Such a beautiful little heart! :)
